When you book a ride home from O’Hare, Midway, or Milwaukee Mitchell, you choose how to meet your chauffeur: curbside pickup or Meet & Greet at baggage claim. Both get you home in the same vehicle. The difference is where you find your driver, who handles your bags, and how much effort the arrival takes.
Here is how the two options compare, and how to pick the right one for your trip.
How Curbside Pickup Works
Curbside pickup is the standard option and is included in your rate. After your flight lands, you receive an automated text message with your driver’s and vehicle’s details. Collect your bags, then contact your driver directly by phone or text when you are ready.
Your chauffeur pulls up at the arrivals curb outside your terminal, loads your luggage, and you are on your way. Curbside pickup works best when you know the airport, travel light, and want to keep things simple.

How Meet & Greet Works
With Meet & Greet, your chauffeur comes inside and waits at the baggage claim assigned to your flight, holding a sign with your name. They help with your bags and walk you to the vehicle, so you never have to search for the right door or wait outside.
Meet & Greet costs $30 and is added when you book. Learn more on our Meet & Greet services page.

When Curbside Pickup Is the Right Choice
- You fly often and know the terminal layout
- You travel with carry-on bags only
- You are comfortable texting your driver when you are ready
- You want the lowest total price for the ride
For a frequent business traveler with one roller bag, curbside pickup is usually the fastest way out of the airport.
When Meet & Greet Is Worth the $30
- First-time visitors to O’Hare or Midway
- Families with young children, car seats, and lots of luggage
- Older travelers, or anyone who would like help with bags
- Business guests and clients you want to welcome personally
- Late-night arrivals when you would rather not wait outside
- International arrivals after a long flight
If you are booking for someone else, such as a parent or an executive visiting your company, Meet & Greet removes the guesswork of finding the car.
Does Curbside Pickup Work at All Three Airports?
Yes. Curbside pickup and Meet & Greet are both available at O’Hare, Midway, and Milwaukee Mitchell. O’Hare’s terminals are large and busy, so first-time visitors often find Meet & Greet easier there. At Milwaukee Mitchell, the smaller terminal makes curbside pickup quick for most travelers.
What Happens if My Flight Is Delayed?
Your flight is tracked with either option, so an early arrival or a delay is already accounted for. There is no extra charge for standard flight delays.
How to Choose When You Book
The pickup option appears in the booking form. Your total, including any extras such as child seats, is confirmed before you pay. Not sure which to pick? Go curbside if you travel light and know the airport, and Meet & Greet if you want a hand with bags and a familiar face waiting inside.
